Swedish K-4 Language Program in SF on Tuesdays (5-9 years) (in-person) 

Day/time: Tuesdays 4:00 pm - 5:45 pm

Location: 511 Laguna Honda Blvd, San Francisco, CA. 94127

Dates: August 23 - June 6  

The last day of classes before Christmas break is December 13 and school starts again January 10.

No class on 9/6/22 Labor Day - Professional Day, 2/21/23 President’s Day - Professional Day, 3/28/23 Spring break.

Cost: 

- $580 for the school year 2022-2023. This is the fee for children who turn 6 years old before 12/31/2022 and who have at least one parent with Swedish citizenship. We receive a stipend from the Swedish government agency Skolverket and these are their requirements for awarding the stipend.

- $945 for the school year 2022-2023. This is the fee for children 5 years of age who do not turn 6 until after 12/31/2022 and for any children 6-9 years old who do not have at least one parent with Swedish citizenship.

Class description: The main goal is for children to advance their Swedish language skills, and to gain a better understanding of Swedish geography, history and culture and we follow Swedish cultural themes and traditions such as Lucia, Easter, Midsummer, semlor, and so on. Each class offers an opportunity to work on Swedish language skills, art & craft projects, school work, circle time, and free play. Students should understand and speak Swedish upon enrollment. Please send a snack with your child.

If a parent is late to pick up a child, a late fee will be applied, starting on the first late minute.

Please complete the Parent agreement form (one form per student) and send it to Monika at mstahler@scandinavianschool.org

Students cannot attend classes before the form is completed and signed. If your child is a current returning student there is no need to fill out the form, unless there has been a change of address or other important changes.
